Accounts 2023-24

The accounts were presented by Pete Wescott. A copy of the complete figures is appended to these minutes. . The accounts showed that there was a starting balance of £394.52, league fees of £2500 paid and expenditure of £2510.20. The closing balance was £384.32.

The league fees were increased to £100 this season and the figures indicate a reasonable balance of expenditure and costs. The cost of trophies has increased considerably over the last couple of years and Pete indicated that more economies would be made this season in the awards – replacing most seasonal trophies with medals. Pete proposed that the fees remain the same for this year but would almost certainly need to rise next season.

There is a continuing expenditure item of £5 per month for hosting the website. This is regarded as highly worthwhile and the contract will be continued.

It was agreed to continue the league fees at £100 per team.
